Research on Enterprise Growth Based on Capability Theory

Capability Theory discusses the root of enterprise competitive advantage from the perspective of enterprise's endogenous resource and capability. However, it doesn't pay more attention to entrepreneur's contribution to enterprise's growth and the relationship between entrepreneur and organizational capability. This paper includes entrepreneur's capability into Capability Theory Model. It points out that entrepreneurs will carry out double function during the firm's growth, on one side, promoting the firm's growth indirectly through nurturing the organizational competence, on the other side, contributing to competitive advantage directly.
