Developing a Framework for Business Intelligence Systems Integration Based on Ontology

Abstract—The paper analyzes the current situation of businessenvironment and business intelligence systems(BIS)framework at first, and studies the theoretics and methodsabout the business intelligence system based on ontology.Based on ontology, this paper proposes an integrationframework for business intelligence systems. A serviceresource based-ontology is proposed in this research, includingthe Data Model Patterns and Ontology mode, which theproblem that face integration of business intelligence systemsbased on different dada sources and structure. Furthermore,based on the knowledge ontology, the essentialities of resourceand the hierarchy relation are presented by a case study andthe construction method of service resource base is given. Itcan help confirm the keystone of the construction of businessintelligence systems.
