A current mode high-speed algorithmic analog-to-digital converter

An algorithmic analog-to-digital converter was designed using current mode techniques. Because of a simple architecture and the current mode operation, ADCs designed using this approach use only a fraction of the area of a flash converter with the same number of bits, while still presenting very high conversion rates.
