A digital device for measurement of physical and chemical parameters of materials and substances

The paper is devoted to development of the method and device used to determine the physical and chemical parameters of materials and substances with respect to the results of measurement of the active and reactive components of the comprehensive dielectric permittivity possessed by an examined material or substance. The method is based on generation of two measurement signals (besides the exciting one) having different frequencies by means of which the excited LC-oscillation circuit is additionally influenced. The expressions associating the real and imaginary material component and the dielectric loss angle tangent with LC-circuit parameters are obtained. The operation of the digital meter used to measure the physical and chemical parameters of materials and substance is discussed and described.
