Planning and configuration of networks for accessing to isolated rural subscribers by means of multiaccess radio systems

The problem of accessing isolated rural subscribers is presented, together with considerations about the quality levels mandatory for this connection. A graph showing the subscriber density versus the distribution of subscribers gives the optimal system as a function of these two parameters. An FDMA (frequency division multiaccess) radio system is presented as a means of giving access in a cost-effective and simple way.<>
