The application of interval mathematics to utility economic analysis

A review is presented of the basic concepts of revenue requirement theory and the varying forms of revenue requirement analysis. The discussion is followed by a brief overview of interval mathematics and its algebraic structure. An example problem using break-even analysis both in traditional single-value form and in interval form, is presented.<>
