Review of nonstandard applications in soft ferrites

Ferrite materials are used in numerous nonstandard applications. The versatility of ferrites in its range of magnetic properties and forming techniques gives engineers a magnetic solution to complex problems. This paper shows by example the range of physical size and dynamic response available to solve engineering problems. The solutions involve the use of ferrite cores and a ferrite rotating transformer.
