H2 and H∞ designs of multirate sampled-data systems

Treating causality constraints, this paper studies the optimal syntheses of multirate sampled-data systems with H₂ and H_∞ performance criteria. Explicit solutions to both the H₂ and H_∞, problems are obtained by input-output space extensions (lifting) and frequency-domain techniques.
