Optimal Solution of Dynamic Matrix Control with Linear Programing Techniques (LDMC)

LDMC is an optimal multivariable control algorithm which combines linear programming method of optimization with the Dynamic Matrix Control. The LP formulation of DMC allows for the optimum calculation of the future moves in L¹ sense. In this work 9 claims are reported with respect to this approach. It will be shown how to formulate the claims made into a LP frame work. Some examples are then presented to show the application of LDMC to any complex linear dynamic system.
