Analysis of Optimized Control of Transient with Fluid-Structure Interactions

According to the theory of fluid-structure interaction, the optimal adjusting model of valve is established to control surge pressure and stress in pipeline. It can be solved with direct search toolbox in MATLAB. The optimal closure rules of valve are obtained by regarding surge pressure or axial stress as optimization object respectively. The results show pulsed amplitude of axial stress can not be controlled efficiently if maximum surge pressure is taken as optimization object. However, the peak values of pressure and stress can be reduced simultaneously when maximum axial stress is minimized.
