Modeling China's Logistics Service Providers' Competitive Relationship Based on Complex Networks

Traditionally researches mainly pay their focus on the competitive behaviors in a competitive market from the microcosmic perspective and only take a limited number of oligopolies into account, while neglecting a comprehensive analysis on the whole industry from the macrocosmic perspective. Switching angle of view from micro to macro, this paper constructs competitive relationship models for Chinapsilas logistics industry by using complex network method and gives an analysis on the properties of the competitive relationship network. The results show that these networks take on characteristics of small-world and scale-free. Finally, this paper demonstrates that complex network analysis method provides a new tool for enterprises to set strategies and for the governments to establish industry policies.
