Multiple-phase-shifted Bragg gratings as all-optical high-order temporal integrators

It is demonstrated that the Nth cumulative time integral of optical signals can be obtained by propagation through a high-reflectivity uniform fiber Bragg grating incorporating N pi-phase shifts arbitrarily located along its axial profile.
