An analysis of major competitors of Chinese textile industry

Textile industry is an important exporting industry for China. Many scholars made a great deal of researches on the international competitiveness of Chinese textile industry and gained many achievements. This paper firstly systematically summarized the relevant study outcome from 4 aspects: other countries, Chinese, industry cluster, technology transformation. Secondly, this paper analyzed the major competitors of Chinese textile industry, including Southeast Asian countries, Japan, India, Pakistan, European Union, Turkey, Central & Eastern Europe, countries along the Mediterranean, U.S.A., Canada, etc. Finally, the paper prospected the situation of EU market. All these laid the foundation for the further study.
