A simple ESR measurement technique for capacitor using switching DC-DC booster

This paper proposes a simple technique to measure the Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) of a capacitor. This method uses a switching DC-DC boost regulator to measure the ESR. This method is very simple in technique, consumes very little time and requires only simple instruments.
