Intelligent control of mandrill position equalization system in pipe expanding procession

On the basis of mandrill position equalization system in pipe expanding procession, this paper introduces the influence of mandrill position to quality of rolled pipe, then after electro-hydraulic servo system nonlinear modeling and multi-step fuzzy control theory, provides an intelligent mandrill position equalizing approach. Results of system simulation and actually application show this approach can effectively equalize dynamic and static position of mandrill.
