A real-time vehicle guidance system using P2P communication

In the past, the research on vehicle traffic information system mostly focuses on centralized control, which collects the data into Traffic Management Center (TMC)through hierarchical architecture. A driver who needs the road traffic information has to make a request from TMC, and TMC will broadcast the current road traffic information to the driver. In this paper, we principally describe a Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V)architecture. On the basis of this architecture, we develop a vehicle guidance system, which can find one or several shortest paths in terms of driving time.
