Reviewing current transformers and current transducers

The purpose of this paper is to provide a tutorial review of three types of current transducers that are used in instruments and power. The three current transducers that will be discussed are; (1) the ac curren transducer; (2) the do current saturable reactor; and (3) the Hall effect generator with the rugged solid iron core.
