Analysis of Refraction Contrast in Diffraction Enhanced Imaging for Soft Tissues

This paper presents the refraction contrast revealed by diffraction enhanced imaging (DEI). Analysis of refraction contrast was made on several basic DEI images as well as the produced images. Images of normal rat liver sections were also obtained at Beijing synchrotron radiation facility (BSRF). The image contrast of the liver tissues was compared with the analytical results.
