Dielectric spectroscopy of bound water in the bentonitic clay

In this paper, the dielectric spectra of moist ben tonitic clay in the range of frequencies from 0.2 GHz to 15 GHz and temperatures from −30°C to +25°C have been obtained. Based on these results, a dielectric model of frozen clay soil was proposed which allows for predicting complex dielectric permittivity as a function of frequency and temperature.
