The Applications of GIS and GPS in ITS

First, to describe the system structure of ITS and classify ITS into four layers according to the process of realization. Then, to expound the importance, convenience and efficiency, security and service diversity of GIS and GPS in ITS(lntelligent Transport System, ITS) according to analyzing the applications of GIS and GPS in ITS. At the same time to put forward existent problems and also indicates the solution direction.
