Analysis of a Disc-type Permanent Linear Motor for Beam Pumping Unit

In this work, a prototype beam pumping unit driven by two DPLSMs was made and analyzed. It was found that the system can supply high torque when operating under very low speed; the temperature is low after a long time operation. It is also shown that the loss is small and the cool condition is good.
