Generating XML-Code from a Visual Rule Modelling Tool

This paper introduces a serialization algorithm from UML-based rule modelling language URML to a XML-based rule language R2ML. Both languages can be considered as an approach for a common standard, which combines the advantages of already available languages. Therefore it's necessary to have an algorithm, which is capable of transforming rules modelled with URML into R2ML. Once the R2ML markup for a rule was created, it' possible to exchange these data interoperable or apply a transformation into already existing rule description languages. The approach to archive this goal is presented in this paper.
