L2 Gain Approximation of Nonlinear Systems: a Heuristic Approach

This paper considers a computational mechanism to approximate a very restricted class of polynomial nonlinear system with a reduced order model. First a necessary condition for the nonlinear system to have a reduced model is given. Then a heuristic approach which utilizes the necessary condition is established.
