Electric drives estimation and denoising schemes based on wavelet transforms

This paper presents the application of the wavelet transform in electric drives schemes. Wavelets can significantly improve the behavior of a Kalman filter used for speed estimation. Furthermore an adaptive multiresolution wavelet analysis method is proposed for current denoising especially targeted for electric drives applications that have a V/f structure.
