A Novel Service Provisioing Architecture and its Application Scenarios

A three-tier intelligent service provisioning system (TISPS) together with the definition of service classes is proposed in this paper. It integrates the ideas of ubiquitous computing, network reconfiguration and self-adaptive service provisioning. The system is composed of three tiers of control: service control, network control and end-device control. Intelligence supporting automation and autonomy is realized in all these control tiers so that varieties of service provisioning are greatly enhanced.
