A Mode-Matching Method for Analysis of Microstrip Radial Stubs

A mode-matching method using the microstrip planar waveguide model for analysis of microstrip radial stubs is presented. Higher order modes excited in both radial stub and feeding line are taken into account, Theoretical data correspond with experiment results closely. The error of the zero transmition frequency up to Ku-band is about 1 percent.
