Fast matching of MR images: validation of a projection based cross-correlation method

High computing time cost is one of the main disadvantages of correlation methods applied to registration. In this paper the equivalence, for matching, between the use of an image or its profiles is demonstrated. Afterwards, an application validates the method.<>
