Medical image mapping using collaborative genetic algorithm

We expand the concept of genetic algorithms (GAs) by introducing a concept of consensus among individuals and propose a Collaborative Genetic Algorithm (CGA). As an example of its applications, a medical image mapping system is developed using CGA. We tested this system by simulations with brain MR images.<>
