A location and privacy service enabler for context-aware and location-based services in NGN

The migration from legacy networks to next generation networks (NGN) requires network-spanning service enablers to offer network features (e.g. location or presence services) to value-added services. This paper introduces a location service enabler for legacy and future networks. The enabler supplies location information to value-added services taking into account privacy issues.
