Management of Thermo-Mechanical Packaging Factors for Lasers for WDM Applications

The displacements of optical path components in WDM laser packages produced by temperature changes have been simulated by FEA thermo-mechanical modelling and evaluated on existing packaged components with qualitative agreement.
