Fuzzy Rough & Rough Fuzzy Inference Engines: for Medical Applications

The proposed paper is an effort to summarize the concept, design-framework and implementation of an intelligent system for preliminary cancer diagnosis. The system is designed to act as a proactive intelligent decision support system. The key features are; it's self learning capability through knowledge approximation, and an internal rough fuzzified structure. The 8 page long paper describes the underlying theory, basic concepts, design and implementation of the said system. We also detail some preliminary diagnosis results and interpretations
