Classification by candidate series matching

In handwritten Chinese character recognition, pre-classification is an effective procedure. We have previously presented a method that determines candidates from the top to the value N of similarity. They have also presented the grouped classification method where threshold parameters are determined by learning. In this paper, we present a method that the candidates series are used to determine the candidates. We also present an extended structural pattern matching method.<>
