AUT-a dynamic tool for traffic control and supervision

AUT is the Automatic Updating of TRANSYT Time plans. The concept is based on optimized and updated time plans which are able to adapt to the long term changes in traffic. To meet certain requirements the following were developed: a method which can estimate and predict traffic patterns, TRAF; a robust optimisation model which include possibilities to optimise for optional effects, AVT ; and a host computer environment, including hardware as well as software, ETC.<>
