Magneto-elastic finite element analysis including magnetic forces and magnetostriction effects

The aim of the finite element approach presented is to quantify the in-service elastic strains induced by variations of magnetic induction in structures made of soft ferromagnetic materials. Both strains induced by surface and body magnetic forces and pure magnetostriction strains are considered.<>
