Universal, computer facilitated, steady state oscillator, closed loop analysis theory Analysis of ALC and self limiting crystal oscillators

The author derives and presents, in detail and with very high frequency resolution, computer-aided procedures for calculating the total performance of ALC and self-limiting oscillators. He considers the determination of the type of self-limiting in effect in a given oscillator. The use of commercially available computer-aided analysis programs and their attendant problems in the analysis of ALC and self-limiting oscillators are also examined. The formulation of additional theory and procedures required to adapt the closed-loop analysis theory to self-limiting oscillators, is also considered along with oscillator zeroing.<>
