Fixed-time life test using the fuzzy theory

The single sample plans with type I (fixed-time) censoring has been studied for a long time. It is hard to get the required producer's risk /spl alpha/ and consumer's risk /spl beta/ exactly, because the sample size n and the acceptance number r/sub 0/ must be integers. The design procedures to determine the acceptance numbers and sample sizes for fixed time censoring based on the fuzzy set theory is presented. A simple decision rule for finding the minimization of sample size was considered in the design procedures.<
