Discontinuous/adaptive pole assignment control of LTI uncertain plants

In this paper, the problem of the pole assignment control of uncertain linear time invariant (LTI) SISO plants is dealt with. The solution proposal consists in a controller realized by means of state variable filters and by the use of a discontinuous control strategy coupled with an adaptation mechanism acting on the parameters of a suitably designed feedforward filter.<>
