A finite memory observer structure for robust residual generation

An actuator fault detection system based on a finite memory observer is proposed. This method uses a state estimation for singular systems and it is applied to estimate the state of standard systems with faulty actuators. Finally, we illustrate our finite memory observer on a numerical example.<>
