The measurement of learning from executive information systems

A three-phase empirical research program that investigated the potential that executive support systems have to foster learning and their impact on organizational performance is described. The authors studied mental model maintenance and mental model building, and developed an understanding of the relative importance and effect that these two types of learning have on performance.<>
