Dynamic analysis of flashover in high voltage DC polluted insulator

Flashover in high-voltage DC polluted insulator was studied through computational simulation and experimentally. Experimental results on flashover velocity are presented. It is concluded that the discharge moves like an energy block with a well-defined beginning and end.<>
