An ultrasonic 3D object recognition method based on the unified neural network theory

A new 3D object recognition method is proposed using acoustical imaging and a probability competition neural network. Its performance is shown by experimental results. 3-D objects are not only classified but also identified based on the unified neural network theory.<>
