Performance analysis of QPR-TCM in fading mobile satellite channel

To improve bandwidth efficiency and error performance, partial response signalling and trellis coded modulation are considered together for QAM. A new receiver for data transmission systems employing bf Quadrature Partial Response Trellis Coded Modulation (QPR-TCM) is investigated and upper bounded on mobile satellite fading channels. This scheme is also tight lower bounded on the Rician fading channel regarding the length of the shortest error event path, the product of branch distances along that path.<
