Control method of linear generator for Maglev vehicle

For Maglev vehicles the authors propose the construction of an on-board power supply system using a DC intermediate circuit, and a three-phase pulse width modulation power converter instead of a normal rectifier so that the power factor of the AC power may be maximized (pf=1). They constructed a system using a feedforward control method-based PWM power converter to cope with the fluctuation of induced voltage caused by the running vehicle's movement. They also proved stable control of this type of PWM power converter in a laboratory test.<>
