Fingerprint verification using coincident sequencing and thinning

A high-speed and low-cost system for scanning, identifying, and coding fingerprints is described. The system uses a technique called coincident sequencing and thinning for the positive identification of fingerprints. Successful identification of fingerprints has been carried out, and the principle of coincident sequencing in automated operation has been proven.<>
