Results from simulations of hydrometeor scatter interference paths using Milan radar data

The author considers the characterisation of the physical phenomenon of scattering for modelling purposes in terms of joint distribution between reflectivity inside the common volume and attenuation outside. The simulation procedure is described and the results discussed.<>
