Kalman filter based non-destructive test instrument

A novel eddy current nondestructive testing (ET) instrument, is considered, which is designed to automatically diagnose and classify defects within tubular non-ferromagnetic metal samples. The signal processing procedure is based on the use of Kalman filters by a set of transputers.<>
