DC electrical characteristics of amalgamation regions in PE insulation

Work is continuing to improve and enhance the reliability of moulded components. This paper reports on a study of flow patterns and morphology changes through the mould cavity with particular attention given to the amalgamation regions. DC breakdown data, together with preliminary findings of space charge measurements, are also presented.<>
