Effect of dissolved water in insulator silicon oil on electrical conduction

The infrared method is used to measure the dissolved water in several kinds of silicon oils under high stress. It is shown that whole water cannot be measured by K. Fisher's method. The conductivity for silicon oil would depend on part of the dissolved water only, but it is doubtful whether this is true or not.<>
