Modeling Of Quantization Noise In Switched-current Sigma-delta Modulator Using VHDL-AMS

This paper proposes a method for the behavioral modeling of white noise source, dedicated to time domain simulations. The behavioral model is implemented with VHDL-AMS. Simulation results are presented and analyzed. As an application, a second order sigma-delta modulator designed with the switched-current technique (SI) is simulated at the behavioral level.
