A model matching design method for sequence control systems

A model-matching design method for sequence control systems is presented. The author introduces a representation transformations and a structuralization into sequence control systems. The basic control system has some properties which imply a constraint relation between the controller and the control object. This constraint relation in the basic control system is easily represented by matrices or graphs. This representation allows the model-matching design method, which reduces designing the controller to specifying the entire normal sequence and identifying the control object. Specifying the entire normal sequence and identifying the control object require knowledge engineering. Therefore, a sequence controller can be designed by the combination of the model matching design method and some techniques of knowledge engineering.<>
